  • NAPT News

Jennifer was living in Northern Virginia with her husband and three young daughters and working as an attorney when she was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma of the left sinus. She met with a local radiation oncologist who told her, “If you were my sister, I would recommend proton therapy.” Proton therapy delivers precise treatment reducing toxicity and side effects of radiation. That summer she was treated at the Maryland Proton Treatment Center (MPTC). “MPTC not only saved my life, it saved the quality of my life,” Jennifer says.
