Tyler received treatment at Hampton University Proton Therapy Institute
Proton therapy is a very precise treatment that prevents short term and long side effects by reducing radiation exposure to healthy tissue. For children this means the opportunity to deliver higher doses of radiation to the tumor while preventing harmful side effects.
